nice shot!! A different arperture would have kept the entire leaf in focus – but this DOF seems to work well anyway…What is the background – a seat / tarmac??

you’re right, i really must sort out using my camera on manual more – i usually just let it work away on its own. and the black surface is a paper art sheet i got for this very purpose.
