above are the (fantastic!) entries i received in the 'fabulous caitriona.net absolutlomo competition'.
now, unfortunately redmum didn't quite make the deadline and obviously i can't win my own competition (well, i could, seeing as i'm making up the rules, but that would just be downright unfair), so that leaves me with two valid entrants; john of mcawilliams.com & neil of returntopearse.com
i hummed and hawed A LOT over picking a winner (why did i think running a competition would be fun? judging stuff is hard) and in the end i decided to go for the easy option....
...given that i got two holgas from the absolutlomo people, i'm going to award joint first (& second & third) prize to BOTH entrants! yay!!!
so congratulations john & neil! i'll give yiz a shout about handing over the goods (john, i know you'll be at the awards on saturday - neil, any chance you'll be there?)
and i expect to see loads of holga shots up on mcawilliams.com & returntopearse.com over the coming months!

    Yay yippe and all that. Caitriona. I am thrilled with this, yep will be there saturday so hopefully you can find me im the one with a silver 350d and hotshoe flash 6 foot 4 in height, slim build, I wear glasses grey hair etc, congrats also to Neil and Redmum sorry you missed the deadline but I will say fantastic shots from one and all, and like I said previously thanks for the competition C.

    you’re both more than welcome guys – sure twas a bit of fun. though not sure i’ll be rushing into holding another competition again soon – the pressure is more than i can handle 😉
