the long lists for the 2008 irish blog awards are out. i am delighted to be in the 'best photography blog' long list (though not enormously surprised, given that it only takes one nomination to get onto the list and i nominated myself!! (well, you can't leave these things to chance!))
there's no public voting round this year - there's 2 judging rounds instead - so i don't have ask you to vote for me, but go take a peruse through the lists, they probably contain every 'active' irish blog that's around at the moment...
oh and also congrats to my da for a nomination in the 'best food and wine blog' category (again, not a surprise as i nominated him too!!)
Sad to see that the sin of nepotism is alive and well and living in Ireland, but, since I’m on the receiving end, I think I can let it pass.
