i was very excited to visit the new lighthouse cinema in smithfield for the first time last night (that and a stinking cold is why i went straight to bed without blogging when i got home). the cinema is fancy and new and shiny and very comfortable but it was startlingly empty. i must make a concerted effort to attend regularly - and encourage more people to go too (hey! everybody! go to the new lighthouse cinema in smithfield!). it would be very depressing if it closed due to lack of business.
