holy cow - i'm 'photoblog of the week' over on coolphotoblogs.com - how the hell did that happen!?

in other news, as it's the last day of january i thought i'd check in on my new years resolutions...

• restart blogging
- i've done pretty good on this - i think i only missed one day in january

• abstain from all forms of alcohol for january
- i had a momentary lapse last saturday, but other than that this was successful

• finish work on house to the point where we can move in before the end of january (or at least early february)
- not doing too good on this - there've been a few setbacks (such as me putting my foot through the ceiling, discovering a lack of damp proof course under a window sill - which is aparantly a bad thing - and the drains getting blocked). but setbacks aside, i'm still hoping we should be in by the end of feb.

• make a start on learning to drive
- hrm... no headway made on this one

• go to the dentist (this is a failed resolution from 2006 - we shall see how it fares in 2007)
- this neither

i'd say that's 2½ out of 5 - so not too bad for the end of january...
