unfortunately it's not completely all kick-back-and-relax-drink-kirs-on-the-terrace stuff - the parents plan to open a little chambre d'hôte / table d'hôte - a b&b that also serves dinner (but instead of everyone sitting at their own little tables, there's just one big table and for dinner there's no menu choice; table d'hôte = the table of the host) so, to get the place into some sort of appropriate condition for this is going to take a wee bit of building work.
