last night i attended the 2008 irish blog awards.

little did i anticipate, in 2006, at the inaugural irish blog awards, that in 2 years i'd be there with my parent's in support of my dad's blog. but that's the way things go in the crazy world of blogging i guess.

much thanks are due once again to mr. mulley for an extremely entertaining and enjoyable evening.

i think i did less chit-chatting than other years (or at least it felt like it - but is it just coz the fellow-bloggers are starting to feel less like strangers?) but i did manage to pin down a few new (to me) photobloggers (hello loreana, darren and treasa!!) as well as the usual photoblogging peeps (john & ryan & claire & redmum - big congrats to claire for a well deserved win in the photo blog category) and a fustar (who's manky toy raffle and accompanying certificates of inauthenticity were a stroke of genius!)

i've put the few photos i took up on flickr. and a few more from other peeps there already too.
