i didn't mean this photo to be deliberately blurry when i took it, but a shaky hand or too low light conspired to make it so (like a lot of photos i take that never make it here) and looking back on it this evening i decided i actually quite liked it.

my favourite bit is the in-focus petal edge at the top of the frame.

hyandrangeas (as i thought i'd said here before, but now can't find where) are one of my favourite flowers - so much so that they featured in my wedding bouquet (a photo of which is on flickr here), so i have a tendency to snap photos of them whenever i see them.
