i've been enviously eyeing up these fabulously cool flowers (with the *best* name - billy buttons!) on various people's websites for the last year or so and it was only recently that it dawned on me - in this carbon-rich age of global shippping and international flower transportation, i could just buy some myself.

so with the help of a friend's flower business, that's exactly what i did!

i've had them at least three weeks now and they're holding up remarkably well - i've taken them out of water and am hoping they'll dry naturally and ideally will continue on indefinitely.
