#778 | phoenix park gate | | [2]

i still haven't been reunited with my computer, so it's yet more phoenix park today. this is one we gave to aonghus' uncle for his 70th birthday. i think i may have said before that i do like taking photos into the sun. i think this is the first time ever i've black-and-white-ed a digital photo. and except that we were printing it, i'm not sure i would have done it just for the purposes of this blog... dunno why, but for some peculiar reason i feel there's something 'pretend' about converting a digital photo to black and white. i'll probably get over it.

    Very interesting picture, really reminded me instantly of black and white movies, no complications, just nice, rich and normal.

    I take all my shots in Colour but in the absence of good colour Ill then make use of it and turn it B&W, makeing sure i get some good high contrast in the photo to make it worth while.
