#788 | holga cobblestones II | | [7]

the second of today's pair of holga shots comes from temple bar and i think is taken from the same places as this one was taken.
the apalling bad quality is as much to do with my bad scanning as the holga. when i scanned the negatives they came our really pale and washed out and with practically no contrast so i had to go a bit overboard on the curves adjustments - which ends up emphasising the scanner lines and dust and various other imperfections.
though i kinda like the effect. even if it was mostly accidental.

The scene is set for the slent movie version of Jack the Ripper.

Powerful shot. Looks really old + those scannerlines add something to the photograph. And the b/w is gorgeous

  3. This is a very nice photo in the first place but by adding all the grain you have created a dramatic atmosphere turning it into a piece of art.

Love the effect – makes it look like a really old print. Temple Bar has never looked so good (I don’t know how you got it so quiet – must be very early in the morning?).
