#1014 | ruins on palatine hill | | [5]

back from rome. had a glorious extra-long weekend (irish people just *blossom* in the sunshine) and a fabulous wedding. managed to squeeze in a surprising amount of site-seeing. and took a fair few photos - though as always wish i had taken more and better.
this was taken on palatine hill, which is home to the familiar-sounding (if you've read i claudius) 'house of livia' and 'house of augustus'.

    thanks so much guys. i think that’s my favourite shot of the whole time in rome (which is why i posted it first) – so it’s all downhill from here. i realise now that wasn’t the cleverest way to do things 😉
