#1037 | passport photo outtakes | | [10]

for our first trip abroad en famille, we're planning to go to france at easter for my dad's 60th birthday party - and for this little fionn will be needing his own passport and passport photos.
i hadn't anticipated what a difficult task taking the passport photos would be.
the passport photograph guidelines are quite stringent and a newborn is not the most cooperative of models.
we did eventually manage to take a (barely) passable photo but it took a lot of (sometimes hilarious) outtakes to get it (my favourite is the one on the top right).
ps. i realise that this has turned into a one-subject photoblog, but unfortunately it's likely to stay that way for the foreseeable future - or until my infatuation with my new son ends (i'm told the 'terrible twos' might do something to help with that)

Top right is without doubt the greatest. The expression conveys all the disgust an elderly maiden aunt might have felt on discovering something unutterably disgusting floating in her G & T.
(Directly underneath is his “I’m just a pore lil’ orphan chile” expression)

what about second from the top on the left, “I’m Thom Yorke circa 1999′.

And then there is third down on the right. ” All right take the blasted picture”
And directly underneath that; Take it!

There’s nothing wrong with posting lots of kid pics. These are hilarious!

It might be one subject but he has so many expressions! Probably the easiest way to get a new born photo for a passport is to get someone to hold him under his armputs and later edit the person out of the background to make it a plain colour. Photoshop/GiMP essential tools!
